Late 2012 was a fertile time for self-expression, even if the outcome wasn't especially obvious. I created this one just before an interesting jaunt up Uncompaghre Pk, at 14,321 ft above sea level the highest peak in the San Juan Range of Colorado. The peak isn't Uncompaghre--I began the piece before the hike--but it evokes a sense of singularity of vision I was to fleetingly experience during this period.
