A marvelous one-off---I taped a piece of watercolor paper on the wall and did this ink-wash creation almost as if by magic. I had been doing a lot of geese observations on the Willamette River docks in Portland, where the geese hung out and weren't easily scared away (I was hissed at on numerous occasions). I only briefly referenced an actual photo, instead relying on from-life sketches. If I did stuff like this all the time, I'd be making billions of dollars, perhaps trillions.
