A frustrating piece inspired, partly, by the fact that macaws were imported Northward by the Chacoan culture of the 4 Corners 1000 years ago...I imagined their plight, living in cold winters in a dark pen. The creation of this work was marked by a disruption in my life which, at the time, seemed accidental and random.
