Part of a new direction in my art starting in 2013...to consciously revisit old concepts and subject matter. The guy in the picture was a character I used to draw in high school. I thought it would be interesting to bring him back, but under new circumstances. Here he is a solitary creature stuck in a spiritual wilderness....or something like that. My original sketches from long ago had him rubbing people's bellies or thrusting his hand into space.
